Hey guys the wife and I live in sa are looking at getting a c34 stag somethime in the next few weeks and are just curious on a few things. The first is major service, is this done at 100k? And what would it set me back $$ plus who would be a trustworthy mechanic too take it too when I need something fixed? I only ask because there is a free for sale getting close too the 100k mark.

Also a reliability question, at the moment we plan not too mod it, however I may decide to do some little things, fmc, zorst and maybe some airflow, nothing stupid and plan not too boost it.

Are they a reliable car with these simple mods?

And finally is there any common falts I should look for on inspection?

HAVE A LOOKY AT THE STICKY... a BUYERS GUIDE, ITS ALL THERE. I have had Nissans that ran to 600Ks.

100 000 k service cost me a bit more then a grand, as above check out the buyers guide one of the top couple of links off this page that should have all the info u need

Absolutely awesome cars, mine is pretty heavily modified but the engine is still unopened. I also driving it HARD and it loves it, begs for more!

The only issue I have is front CV's have started clicking but the front axles are the same as all the GTRs, have a set coming in through Maytech very soon.

P.S. make sure you go a series 2!
