Dead Island Video Game

So is it just me?, or has anyone else been the victim of the dissapearing weapons?

At first I thought i had thrown them and simply forgotten to pick them up, but now I am certain that they simply dissapear on occasion.

And it always seems to be the particularly GOOD ones, last night I lost my Wikizashi with something like 1051 +523 damage, It dissapeared when i accidently picked up a random weapon and it replaced its slot in the equiped weapons

Ive also lost about 3 of the orange weapons and heaps of other decent ones through throwing them and never seeing them again

ive had that happen, but since i played the game religiously i didnt mind so what do you know, 30 mins later i found one with higher specs, (zeds demise). duped it, gave one to jin and 2 for my inventory. was all good and fun, till my saved game corrupted....... there goes my 80hrs of gameplay aye?????
