hes the best

They try to change the rules to stop him from dominating but yeh hes the best there is. People pay to see him so without him the F1 may lose money. He doesnt always win and there is competition out there for him they just gotta get that bit better. He started to dominate when Mika Hakkien retired, he was his only real competition besides his team mate Rubens Barrichelo

lol not money wise just driving i mean a lot of the guys today were making those small mistakes and he was perfect

if you don't mean it....

don't say it. lol

dundan, we sure do suffer from that poppy disease but to be honest with you, f1 would do a lot better if they'd get rid of him and let me drive for the ferrari team.

they never listen though.

we shouldnt blame someone for being good or better then the rest. and honestly, he derserves it. He is so devoted to ferrari, helping them change so much to the team they are now. Not only that, but he works so hard off the race track, keeping fit more then anyone else in f1. Basically he is as devoted as u can be. He deserves to b top.

Dont think though he will be unbeatable. Far from it. This season will be the closest id say, and it will be hard for ferrari and schuey to win again.

Interesting to read this thread after watching today's race

what a dominating victory by ferrari. preview of the season ahead?

I sure hope not. Close racing is good racing.

Still You gotta think that we are witnessing history in the making with shummy dominating so thouroughly for this long with no sign of letting up His statistics are pretty impressive, And seem to be only rising further and further apart from those of past greats.

things will change guys, as the bridgestones are ferraris weakest link. The conditions today favoured them hugely. Dont expect this too happen too much thou in the future. However was a very impressive race by ferrari. I cant believe how crap Mclaren wer. Even DC at the end was askin the channel 10 commentator if they had any ideas cos Mclaren have none. Alonso was excellent as was Button. Wish he finished ahead of montoya aswell.

It is just a shame that it is so biased. It would be alot better if there cars were of a more equal set up. I think it would then put the presure back on the drivers. Watching it today was a bit boring because ferrai just whopped and no one even looked close!

But seriously F1 without Shuemacker (I can't spell) is like basketball without Jordan! I know i lost interest once he retired...

i think u guys over estimate ferraris package, and ill say this again. u are only as strong as ur weakest link, this being their tyres. And today they wer lucky that the weather suited them. All last year ferrari struggled due to the tyres. They have obviouslt worked really hard on the car however im sure that they tyres will let them down again.

    • Hopefully it ends up being something manageable, like a hone, rather than a full bore—it would be a huge relief if it’s not as bad as it looks. Hang in there; these setbacks are annoying, but it sounds like you’re handling it as smartly as possible.
    • At the end of the day, it’s all about understanding the odds and being comfortable with the potential cost, whether it’s horsepower on a build or chips on a roulette table. And I have to say, the Laine example made me laugh—some people really do embrace that carefree, “roll and see” attitude!
    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
    • https://yariksteel.ru/manual/R33/Skyline_R33_elektroprovodka.pdf   Page 18 should be what you want for the Dash Cluster wiring. Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
