Well a change of circumstances calls for a change of vehicle so the Skyline is up for sale/swaps.

I was involved in a very, very light touch late last year and the car copped the lightest damage to the front right. The day after I had parked the car at the Hurstbridge train station (about 1100m from my house) and at 8:18 that night a copper drove through, saw the damage and left me a defect notice. It took an eternity to get the insurance sorted (through the guy who hit me) and in that time the rego was suspended (I wasn't going to fix it until I new it wasn't going to be taken by the insurance). So there we are.

1994 R33 GTS-T Coupe

Manual

~170k ks

$5500 ono or swaps for a 4 door r32/r33 GTS-T manual with cash your way if necessay.

Also interested in any other four doors or station wagons. Mush be interesting/turbo and manual.

Needed for roady -

  • Probably a front bar cover
  • Small amount of panel bashing the front right, or a new guard
  • Probably a windscreen (RWC mechanics tend to be a stickler for windscreens)
  • Front tyres replaced but only because they rub lightly on the inner guards (currently fitted are 235/45/17 - fine tread wise)
  • Grille - the damaged one could very easily be fixed though, like very easily.
  • Remove boost tee
  • It'll then need a bit of a general tidy up/panel beating to get everything to fit properly, but really not much.
  • I have 2 headlights to go with it. They are in excellent condition.
  • A couple of very small holes in the rear muffler patched
  • Will need a new battery.

If I think of anything else which needs mentioning, I'll put it up.

The good points!

The car is/was in excellent condition. It's been resprayed at some stage a very dark, metallic purple. Looks great although it's got a few typical scratches/chips on it.

Engine is perfect

Gear box is good, though syncros on 4th are shot. Apart from that it's very tight.

No creaks, rattles, squeeks from diff/suspension.

New Clutch

New rear tyres (chongshen specials)

Big FMIC behind the bar (stealth). Comes with pod filter AND stock airbox (currently fitted)

Comes with two excellent headlights and one good left

Good JVC headunit/speakers altho sub will be comming out :)

Interior very clean, straight and complete (apart from boot - a bitsa back there).

Been boosted to ~9PSI for about the last 2-3000ks of it's life. Stock boost always prior to that.

Starts first click, revs perfect, no smoke.

New radiator.

I love this car and will be sad to see it go, but I need a four door.

PICS TO COME

Call/SMS me on 0418 994 629

Car is located in Hurstbridge, north east of Melbourne. Can be viewed weekdays after 6pm and weekends (except fo rthis weekend!)

No one has anything swapworthy?

I'll take $5k for it, but you'll struggle to get me to go any lower than that.

I'll include a Greddy Emanage Ultimate with harness as part of the deal. Not yet installed.

So $5k with the EMU + harness for a very good nick 33 which needs a tiny amount of work for roadworthy.

No one looking for a cheap, good nick 33 which needs a tiny bit of work to get roadworthy?

Going up on Fleabay tomorrow.

Will kick off at $3,500 with a $4,500 reserve.

If someone buys it here before I put it up I'll throw in the EMU and all and any spare I have here such as a full set of braided brake lines and whatever else I can find.

hi bro do u know what is exactly broken in the car?

There's a light bit of damage to the front right. It's cosmetic only, ie. the rad support and reo bar are untouched. You could either flatten out to guard on it now or pick up a astraight second hand one. Either job wouldn't be hard.

For roadworthy I predict it will need the following:

Battery

4 small holes in the exhaust filled, or a new rear section

possibly a new windscreen

probably front tyres as they rub on the plastic inner guards at full lock

horn reconnected

boost tee removed

an air filter for the stock air box

That should be it.

the car is straight, it's quiet, it starts perfect, first time, blows no smoke, revs perfect, pulls hard, brakes perfect and so on.

The only reason I'm not goign to fix it is because I need a 4 door for a potentially growing family in the not too distant future. And I also simply do not have the room to fix it. I live on the side of a mountain and don't have a garage.

Would u sell me just the emu

I will, if I sell the car. But for now I'll hang onto it in case I decide to hang on to the 33.

No one looking for a cheap slider/track base or a cheapo GTST car requiring little work to get on the road?

Check the gnew price.

$4,000 for a car requiring very little work for roadworthy.

Happy for people to come and inspect after ~6pm weekdays or on the weekend.

Gizza call on 0418 994 629 if keen.

$4,000 with the EMU.

Anyone?

I need a sedan! Interested in swapsies with cash your way. Keen on an R33/R34 4 door, XR6 turbo, XR8, must be manual.

Will go up to ~$12k your way depending on car.

    • Guys since i bought r33 gts25t coupe 1994 automatic a/t(manual swap 350z gearbox)  all i got is problems, always problems. Lets start with that when i turn key into ignition(ON) fuel pump doesnt always works. Sometimes i have to turn key twice Off/on/off/on until it primes. Its new, dw300 - 340lph. My gearbox broke so i did gearbox swap, install different intake manifold, injectors and i take pipes. Car was sitting in garage for more than half a year. I did assembly all not that long ago and when i turn ignition cant hear prime. All of sudden it stopped working. Theres many videos on YouTube how to make relay mod on r33 straight from battery so i did and it doesnt work! 😰 30 - battery positive  87 - positive from fuel pump to relay 85, 86 - one of two wires from original fuel pump wires(light blue, grey) and it didn’t work. so I check on ignition and took original BLUE relays wires from trunk, next to fuses. (I believe it’s IGN+ and ECU pin 18. it didn’t work…  tried connecting (IGN+ from og relay) and (ECU 104 from 1of4 FPCM wires) to my new relay 85/86 and it didn’t work.  I unplug FPCM. Didn’t work. im thinking what’s wrong   fuel pump is working, if I leave IGN+ on 85 and 86 straight to ground it works but it’s just nonstop. Since it getting constant 12v after key in ON. light blue wire gives me 6-8v.  so how this should be connected? What causing ECU not giving — on pin? Or I did sth wrong and that’s why it doesn’t work? I need negative signal on ECU that control fuel pump. What this should be?
    • You can use your VIN to look up the factory part number somewhere like amayama, and then look to order new if necessary. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan Depending on price you might want to rebuild instead. @GTSBoy I had an interesting insight into US market parts when the Titan rear calipers were sticking. New calipers were dirt cheap, about 20% more than a rebuild kit....they are just considered throw away maintenance items
    • Funny, but really not funny. Thank god (most) f the world has moved on since then
    • Lots of votes for driving onto a plank first; that is the quickest way I've found, 25mm is enough for my case but that will vary by car It also depends where you are going for. On the 32 I can get to the rear diff with my floor jack if I do that end first, and get it up on stands. Then I lift the front from either front tow hook as high as needed, also onto stands. Sometimes I need a small lift on the other tow hook to get it level enough If I do the front first I can't get to the rear diff because of the angle of the car Other options are getting to the front mount of the rear subframe from in front of the wheel (if only lifting one side, or just do both which is a bit of a pain compared to one lift from the diff), or also the gearbox cross member mount on the driver's side if you are  just trying to lift the driver's side. I This is the jack I use; it says 75mm clearance but of course that is only on the lower section so if you have to reach too far in like the diff you still get stuck. https://www.snapon-bluepoint.com.sg/category/Floor-Jacks/product/Floor-Jack,-2-Ton-Low-Profile
