Nissan R33 GT-R v-spec

1995 model with 65xxx kms

Has been resprayed in Fusion Red. I have ownd the car only 7 months but now im in the mix of building a 26/30 engine for a track car. Not after swaps unless it is a Nissan navara turbo diesel at least a 2002 model with relatively low kms.

so hear it is...

Engine mods

HKS adjustable cam gears

full stainless Kakimoto exhaust

Garret 2860-5 Turbos

stainless intake with trust pod filters with Z32 AFM's

gates timing belt

Extreme cushion button clutch (brand new less then 300 Kms on it)

Split fire coil packs

Have had all fluids replaced, including radiator flush, using motul 300V engine oil. When i removed the filter i cut it open to inspect the contents - there was no eveidence of any metal (have seen more metal in an oil filter in an piston engine aircraft filter)

Just had Gearbox removed and some new bits fitted inside as 4th gear was just starting crunch

-Had all new synchros

-3rd an 4th gear selector hubs replaced

-input gear replaced

-other parts have also been changed have receipt to prove

OVER 3,000 dollars(this price does not include the clutch that was put it at the same time) on the gearbox an its all under 300 kms since it has been done!

Engine management:Power FC(no hand controller)

Suspension/brakes etc

ZEAL coilovers fully adjustable with 6 stage dampning

RDA slotted an dimpled rotors on all 4 wheels(less then 500kms on rotors an pads)

inside the car

Clarion DVD pop out unit with ipod connectivity

Clarion amp

has front a rear twitters and different speaker

Security: viper 5901 alarm system which is brand new also

Does have remote start application but isn't hooked up but can be by someone that knows what to do.

bad points

rear L/H pod has crack in it

passanger window switch U/S

i haven't had the car long so i haven't had it tuned but the previous owner said it made 301 awkw. Feels like it pulls quite hard

its defiantly a regrettful sale

    • The issue now is the 'fuel cut' while driving, and when it happend, it does not stall. This, I did not test the fuel pressure while driving as I cannot with a fuel pressure gauge. I do have Nistune logs, yes. I have also replaced the MAF Sensor.   Also related to the FPG Fuel Hanger – I just realized that I need a Deutsch Crimp Tool to crimp some cables for the FPG Fuel Hanger. Need to purchase additional cables as the kit only included 2, which are for the float. FPG is has not responded to my emails so far after purchasing. I thought about taking it to someone and having it done professionally, but I am reluctant since everyone I took it to messed up in some way.
    • There's a good German place in Brisbane if youre up for the drive 😛
    • The German place in Cabramatta was rock solid, fresh pretzel cooked to order back then. Then it went all quiet, after all the poker machines were removed, then I believe it closed for good. I did drive past the other week and noticed outdoor lighting a big screen, but no idea what is there now.
    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
    • I would say no, why, because my daughter, who also lives in Goulburn, hasn't recommended us going there Pity, as we miss all the German joints around in Sydney, actually, the restaurants are the only thing I really miss about Sydney, and a special mention to Ishibanboshi at Bondi Junction, their Kara-age Don is heart cloggingly deliciousness (always added a special boiled egg...or 2) 😋
