Do you know if these hold 1 or 2 snowboards?

Also does it lock the racks to the roof rails or the board to the racks, Or both?

I'm no expert but I would say one snowboard. The racks lock to the roof rails, the snowboard holders have a lock to secure the snowboard. They can't be removed from the racks when on the car.
