BP 98 RON fuel has consistantly tested higher then the competitors when it comes to the actual RON rating

The higher the RON the less likely your engine is to ping and detonate i.e damage pistons and other internals

Don't waste your time with Shell or the others I have heard horror stories here in VIC... everyone in the know here uses BP 98 only

Argh, none of them are near me. I'm in Inglewood. Hope the Shell at Highgate gets it soon.

I used to use V-Power in NSW so I'm keen to get back to using it as I was never disappointed.

I used Shell 98 on and off in Adelaide the past 10 years or so... never had a problem. Glad there's a few here now though, so I can use my $50 Shell voucher from SAU!! :D

Which Shell locations are carrying V-Power already?

Hi there,

It's Katie here on behalf of Shell.

For a complete listing of Coles Express sites where Shell V-Power is available, please see the article 'Shell Launch V Power in WA' on the homepage of Syklines Australia at http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/

There's a PDF at the top of the article that contains a full outlet listing.

Cheers,

K

    • https://yariksteel.ru/manual/R33/Skyline_R33_elektroprovodka.pdf   Page 18 should be what you want for the Dash Cluster wiring. Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.

    • Whereabouts are you, that looks exactly like Akira's old car....
    • Haha, that's so true. Minimal plans quickly turn into a full transformation, especially when you see what others are doing
