Rumours say it has a better turbo, but there has never been pictures of the two next to each other for comparison (external & internally) also people say Jap Spec uses 480cc (that's garbage) all S15 Manuals use 450 CC injectors.

As far as I know, all turbo s15 models from 99-00 had ball bearing core, from late 00-02 all changed to bush bearing core. Hence why people say jap specs have bb turbo n aus specs dont, because we only get 99-00 jap spec models imported here. from late 00-02, s15s were officially for sale on aus market so no jap specs were allowed to import to aus. All s15 injectors are red top 480cc. Aus spec s15s were detuned to suit our lower octane fuel + you mentioned above.

Hey mate couple of Q's.

Does it have logbook service history?

Has it had 100'000km service or is this still due?

Any accident history?

What sort of $$ to keep the current wheels (and are the new tyres on the S15 rims or the new ones as I am guessing they're different sizes?

Any interior pics please?

hey mate,

Yes the log book comes with the car,

Yes service has been done and chain tensioner kit has been installed

it has never had an accident with me and no witness marks on chassis rails from any accidents ..

the wheels are real Rays and they are worth a bit of coin so i wouldnt want to let them go with the car but if someone really wanted them we could work something out..

Standard shadow chrome s15 wheels are currently fitted on the car and have goodyear tyres on them they are in good shape and all the same size..

interior pics on request just msg me and i will mms you a pic of what ever you want..

here is the answer to the BB turbo or not question..

in the centre of the turbo (ie the section between the front housing and rear housing... there are a bunch of numbers..

466541 = ball bearing

466543 = bush bearing

for the second bit of the number

-001 = S14 turbo (no splitter between wastegate and turbine exit)

-002 = S15 turbo (splitter between wastegate and turbine exit)

Some jap and some Aus specs got BB and others didn't.

so it's a mixed bag of turbos on each version of the car.

It dosent make a difference, I would rather have a Aus Spec knowing that it is a good car, not wound back km's original engine gearbox etc etc..

Bump good car.. com on guys..!!

then why u selling it? lol...

?

I have seen a BMW 1 Series i really like and want to buy.. so my s15 has to go, it has been a good car to me..

Also, AUDM would be easier/cheaper to insure than JDM.

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
