bra0063 Posted July 30, 2011 Share Posted July 30, 2011 hi guys just wondering why my tyre scrapes the top of the inner guard? my car as hardly been lowered (getting coilovers in a week) still around 10-15cm clearance of the ground. wheels are 235/40/18 dont wanna get new tyres although ive heard rotalla f107's are pretty bad and lastly can i remove my inner guard (plastic panel thingy) and it wont make my car rust or damage etc? all answers would be helpfull cheers. ARTZ Posted July 31, 2011 Share Posted July 31, 2011 you can remove them but then dirt and mud gets stuck in all sorts of places it shouldnt.. if you take the wheel off and look where it scrapes it is just a little lump on the inner guard lining..get a heat gun and heat it then push it in so it doesnt stick out and this should stop most of your scraping..
