(SYD) Nissan 180sx 97 RPS13

Hey guys and girls, due to P platers restriction I have decided to sell my car. I would like this car gone just because it needs to be driven more than it should

Model: 1997 Nissan 180sx RPS13 Genuine Type X

Colour: White

Transmission Type: 5 speed manual

Rego: March 2012

Mileage:98,7XX Kms

Price: $9,500 Negotiable, willing to swap with a daily + cash my way

Contact: Call me on 0412 190 242 for serious offers and inspections

The only mods done to the car which was by the previous owner were:

- Cusco Front Strut Brace

- Apexi Muffler

- Saas Boost Gauge

- Pod Filter

- Chargespeed Front bar

- Uras Tail lights

- Tein Springs

- Unknown 16" Wheels in white with 60-70% tread

Flaws

- The Gearbox Syncro's 1st and 4th gear wont go into gear that easily and we're in need of replacing since purchase but i've been able to use the car as an A-B ( can help source out a gearbox at around $300 )

- Door trim has a 1cm hole due to tweeters being installed previously

- Boot only opens with key

- Power Mirrors don't work for some reason ?

Car is clear from revs :)

Other Information:

I've owned the vehicle for the past 2 months, purchased as it sits so I thought it'd be a great base project to start on but due to the fact of losing my license for 3 months I would love to keep it but i have to grab a non-turbo vehicle since after I get my license back I'd still be on my p's for another period of 6 months so 9 months till my fulls.

The car has only done 1000km's since purchase which averages on a range of 100km's per week.

As people that do know me I always keep my cars clean and well taken care of, I'm usually a very fussy owner and always likes to keep the car garaged. Only things that's needed to be seen as a genuine type X is the Front bar and tail lights and you have yourself a cheap late model type x.

I'm in no rush to sell the flaws of the vehicle i know will reflect on the price with offers coming in but please no low ballers, if the car doesn't sell at the price that i would like then it will garage it until I have my fulls.

Any offers are welcome, also wouldnt mind a non turbo daily + at least 3k my way.

Thanks for viewing,

Syd.

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
