hey guys.. loving the advice from SAU members

new query i have ..

looking at purchasing wheels in GTR offset

what im after is VOLK TE37 superlaps.. the 19's come in 10.5 +12 offset.. thing is.. i want 19's but i dont want a dish, like the 18s . the spoke is on more of an angle from the centre and goes to edge of the dish.

its probably not making sence. but i want 19inch te37s with no dish but in gtr offset. so the spoke is angled more and finishes on end of dish. i like te37 sl in 19 +12 offset but the dish is a different colour and i dont like how the spoke is fairly straight

cheers

I thought 10.5" only comes in +15? Its the 9.5" that comes in +12 I think. I might be wrong.

Are you trying to say you want the 19" size but with the spokes fully extended out? Is that gonna be a low positive offset or just a total difference design (something like the GTC face 1 and 2?). In any case thats probably not gonna happen. I would recommend 18x10.5 +15 if anything due to the larger size tyre you can fit and also personally I find 19s too big unless its a show car.

yeh thats true 18s are better but i just love 19s.. they should of had a few different designs than just the 10.5 +12 offset. im pretty sure its plus 12

what about 19x9.5 +22 offset?

The offset would be based on the product mould itself... I dont think they're gonna make 1 specially for you though. Thats assuming that offset is not available in that size but looks like they do. I only know 18s doesnt come in that size.

19x9.5 +22 will have lesser dish.

18x9.5+22 $3350 DELIVERED WITH RAYS NUTS

18X10+20 $3350 DELIVERED WITH RAYS NUTS

18X10.5+15 $3400 DELIVERED WITH RAYS NUTS

18X11+18 $3450 DELIVERED WITH RAYS NUTS

19X9.5+22 $3450 DELIVERED WITH RAYS NUTS

19X10.5+22 $3550 DELIVERED WITH RAYS NUTS

19X10.5+12 $3600 DELIVERED WITH RAYS NUTS

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
