Note:

This DVD player is the EXACTLY the same as the Australian version (AVH-P3350BT), same appearance, features, functions, CD, FM radio e.t.c. There are only 2 differences between this model, and the Australian model.

AM stations end with a 0. E.g. 954kHz becomes 950kHz, 1269kHz becomes 1270kHz and so on. A difference of 1-5kHz is barely noticeable.

The DVD player is set at region 1. It will play everything except for original Australian DVD's, it will play ALL other format exactly the same, DivX, VCD, copied DVD's, MP3's etc, that's why most customers don't notice any difference. If you have an original DVD all you have to do is make a copy of it as region free or DivX format, which is easy to do on any computer, and it will work on this DVD player. It's not safe to keep original DVD's in the car anyway so for the small effort it's definitely worth the money you save!
