Reverse Gear Beeping

What would be the best way to Reverse Gear Beeping sound that makes my R34 GTT sound like a tractor is backing up!?

Is there a fuse that breaks this system? Does the sensor need to be disconnected?

...Surely this has been done many times before and I would like to know what other enthusiasts have done to remove this irritation.

okay folks, the best piece of information i have come across so far is the following...

"If you trace it under the dash below the steering wheel it is as simple as unpluging it from a small black control box.

This will not affect any other functions of the car it will just remove the beep from reversing leaving the lights on with the key in etc."

I will look at it during the day tomorrow

in other posts, people have said that it is a hard soldered unit and that it cannot be dissabled from the gear shifter side. In the post i quoted above, the owner states that it will not affect the lights-on beep. I do want the lights on beep as there have been a couple occasions where it has come on and i would not have otherwise noticed i left the lights on :D

...Have you done this yourself? are there any tips you can share?
