Rescheduled due to Heavy Rain/Bad Weather.... We're heading upto Northern Beaches to the elegant and famous Palm Beach!!! We're starting off from P6D (Olympic Park) and taking a direct route to Palm Beach up through Lane Cove Rd. to Mona Vale Rd. (a very nice drive) so to avoid getting lost; there is some amazing food close by @ Palm Beach to get get a feed... Will be a great day out, hope you can make it...here are the details:

DATE: Sunday, November 6th

MEET TIME: From 9:30am

MEET WHERE: P6D

(Corner of Parkview Drive & Australia Ave- Olympic Park!)

WE LEAVE: 10:30AM

DESTINAION: Palm Beach

OUR CRUISE ROUTE:

1. Quite simple; Left onto Australia Ave., Merge Left & Get onto the Homebush Bay Drive heading toward Ryde!

2. Continue to follow Homebush Bay Drive to Mona Vale Rd. where you Turn LEFT onto Pitwater Rd.

3. Follow Pittwater Rd Straight through 1 roundabout through Newport & Avalon, upto Palm Beach.. Parking past the Golf Club in the Reserve on your Left!!

Route On Google Maps (Please View & Get Familiar): Cruise Route!

Pre-Meet for anyone who lives out in Western Sydney @ M4 Eastbound Twin Servo's at Eastern Creek... we are meeting in Oporto's Carpark from 8:50am & leave for P6D @ 9:20am!

Haha complete opposite direction.. Hopefully see ya there anyway come say gday be good to know a few blokes with skylines...... if my cars not resprayed the saturday ill stand out like dogs balls with primer spots lol so you cant miss me

Sundays weather is looking great... Mostly Sunny both @ Olympic Park & Palm Beach!! Lets hope it holds out that way :worship:

Also a reminder about our earlier Western SYD meet @ M4 Eastbound Twin Servo's at Eastern Creek... we are meeting in Oporto's Carpark from 8:50am & leave for P6D @ 9:20am! :D

This is an open Cruise, its an unofficial SAU Cruise :/

IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR SUNDAY--> TIME & MEET PLACE CHANGE:

MEET WHERE?:We Are NOW Meeting @ CrossRoads Bunnings, Casula (Cnr Of Camden Valley Way & Beech Rd)... P6D is a no go due to a Charity Run which is held by The Sun Herald!!

MEET TIME: 9AM

WE LEAVE: 10AM!

WESTERN SYD EARLIER MEET!!

Our meet for Western SYD is now @ Pioneer Tavern, Penrith on Northern Road (next to Dan Murphys)!!

MEET: From 8:15am

WE LEAVE: 8:45am

UPDATED CRUISE ROUTE:

1. Quite simple; Left onto Camden Vally Way., Turn RIGHT onto M7 & follow, get onto M4 to head towards Sydney!

2. Follow M4 & turn LEFT @ Homebush Bay Drive where you continue to follow Homebush Bay Drive to Mona Vale Rd. where you Turn LEFT onto Pitwater Rd @ Monavale.

3. Follow Pittwater Rd, Straight through 1 roundabout through Newport & Avalon, upto Palm Beach.. Parking past the Golf Club in the Reserve on your Left!!

I Have a buttf**kton of photos,

Just gave my camera to a mate with ADHD At the start of the day, Told him to play nice, and that id see him in the afternoon, Found him 2 hours later next to the NSX haha,

Ill make sure i upload em all tonight. theres 300+ Photos lol, So if you were there there will most definatly be a few flicks of your car...

      For fuelling the Haltechs have O2WB fuel controllers. Very useful for helping tuning VE and correcting for *small* mistakes. Of course if your injector/cam/trigger/sensor data is just wrong (or for a GTT which is not a GT) then you will get impossible reactions to things. I am sure you know this already but the reason people don't typically put haltechs (or any Aftermarket ECU) on GT's is because there's practically no real gains to be had - So this knowledge won't be commonplace.

      Shouldn't need a "base map" for anything other than guidance to ignition tuning. You just need the engine capacity right, the injector size right, and something, almost anything, for a VE map. On an NA engine, fuelling is almost completely a function of load signal & rpm. It should run and drive with a completely flat fuel map. It will be too lean under load, but that's easily fixed. We used to tune all ECUs without any base map. There were no such things (until someone had tuned a near stock engine on one, and then they had a "base map".

      What did you actually buy/how much did it cost? When I got mine in like.. 2017...? 2019? the aim was to run Torque for gauges via ODB2 and things like Track Addict/Laptimers/Dashcam/Reversecam/Spotify etc. Mine never broke, but I wonder if you've got the same needs (it sounds like it). Cause I liked the idea of being able to do anything with it. That said, yours also cost 3x the cost of what I spent so... food for thought.

      For me there is a massive difference in manufacturer or big brand crippled android (Sony, Kenwood etc) vs the sort of thing I've installed here, which is basically just a tablet in DIN form factor with open Android, and the other model of course is mirroring - Android Auto/Carplay. I hate the locked down manufacturer and AA options where they decide what apps I'm allowed to install, including the Launcher but also importantly things like Ecutek (for this car) or Real Dash (Stagea) are not supported. Plus those crippled versions tend to be slower due to both overheads and lower spec hardware. On the other hand, when this breaks I'll likely be in trouble for support....but how is that different to owning an Infiniti anyway
