Hi guys, action-smiley-069.gif

For sale is my R34 daily. Non turbo, coupe, grey, tiptronic.

Has done 109,000kms,

Had the 100k service.

Two new rear tyres put on last month

5k spend on the sound system, Full alpine speakers, sub, amps and a double din DVD touch screen. Ipod / Iphone connectable (Receipts kept)

Only mods done are full Xforce sports exhaust, spitfire coilpacks, genuine R33 GTR wheels, and Z-tune style front bumper (Looks like GTR)

Very loud car, Looks and sounds aggressive but is a perfect daily or will suit P-plater interstate.

Located in Perth, WA.

Looking for $9k. Fairly firm as I feel the price is low for what it is. My reason for selling is towards the end of November i'll be buying a new car, Either a 32,33gtr, STI / WRX or evo7. So open to swaps plus cash your way of course. (But if you want a swap + Cash will need to wait till end of November)

Cars never broken down, never been pushed too hard, never over revved, never even pushed above 3k rpm when cold (One time I wanted to reach my spedo's limit - I was in a bad mood, but hey least i'm honest and won't tell you a bunch of crap like 90% of other sellers out there! :P)

ALWAYS filled up with BP Ultimate.

Only down sides: Obviously there are a few little dents, scratches etc as it was my daily and is subject to getting raped every time it goes near a shopping centre (Though I minimized it by parking away from other cars where possible) Bonnet has a small chip that was touched up before I bought the car, Underneath the front bumper is a bit of scrape'age due to the road just vanishing from underneath me one night lol. Minor scrape on side of front bumper where I assume somebody failed at parking and tapped my car (No dents or cracks, just little scrape, barely noticeable and I expect it might even polish out)

No rust.

Please message me on here with any inquiries.

Kind of goes without saying, But i'll say it none-the-less, I'm not an idiot, I've sold cars before. No paypal, and silly business because you'll just be wasting both of our time! domokun.gif

Try the WA section + gumtree?

Thanks buddy, I honestly just assumed all the WA people would look here too - Actually a good idea i'll get onto it right now :)

Bump, come on please somebody take this off my hands lol. As stated in above posts i'll be willing to trade it (As like 5-6k value) + cash for a 32/33 GTR, Evo 7, wrx sti.

Bump

- Making it clear.... i'm only interested in swaps for the cars listed above. Anything else is going to get a no. Thanks for the interest though guys.

Apologies guys! All pms now replied to. Car is currently at mechanics overnight, anyone wanting to take a look i'll let you know when it's ready to go. (Not in for anything major, battery / alternator issue)

  • 4 weeks later...

Sorry guys, car was off the market for a couple weeks due to it taking a little longer than I expected to find a new car! My new STI comes tomorrow so this baby is BACK ON THE MARKET! To be honest, I don't 'need' it gone. So i'm firm on the price and not accepting any trades or parting anything out. Will happily just sit somewhere, with a cover on it until a buyer comes along :)Sorry to all who messaged me, If you're still interested please send another and i'll get back to you ASAP

As of now KMS read about 111,000 So really hasn't traveled much more than advertised.

On second thought, If it doesn't give me too much trouble I may remove the stereo to put in new car, and adjust the price downwards a tad. Currently sitting at a firm $9000

BUMP - stereo still in the car for the time being, if I don't find a buyer soon i'll have it taken out. Won't reduce the price by much so better to buy now and get a great system :) looked it up, still around $4500 to buy the bits new.

Come on guys, this is well below the market value i've seen any others sell for! (Stock) and this one has a couple nice things, not to mention bad - ass stereo! :P

    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
    • If as it's stalling, the fuel pressure rises, it's saying there's less vacuum in the intake manifold. This is pretty typical of an engine that is slowing down.   While typically is agree it sounds fuel related, it really sounds fuel/air mixture related. Since the whole system has been refurbished, including injectors, pump, etc, it's likely we've altered how well the system is delivering fuel. If someone before you has messed with the IACV because it needed fiddling with as the fuel system was dieing out, we need to readjust it back. Getting things back to factory spec everywhere, is what's going to help the entire system. So if it idles at 400rpm with no IACV, that needs raising. Getting factory air flow back to normal will help us get everything back in spec, and likely help chase down any other issues. Back on IACV, if the base idle (no IACV plugged in) is too far out, it's a lot harder for the ECU to control idle. The IACV duty cycle causes non linear variations in reality. When I've tuned the idle valves in the past, you need to keep it in a relatively narrow window on aftermarket ecus to stop them doing wild dances. It also means if your base idle is too low, the valve needs to open too much, and then the smallest % change ends up being a huge variation.
    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
