Hey guys,

Finally had enough of this side project me and my brother started some 6 or 7 years back.

Is an 81 GH Sigma with the 2.6L Astron motor. Trim is all original (bar some autometer goodness) and is in excellent condition. Car was factory metalic green and has the matching trim colour.

Goodies:

HKS spec GT3037S (3076R) .63 v band rear

Steampipe exhaust manifold

GFB 38mm gate (plumbed)

All alloy cooler piping (custom)

450x300x76 FMIC

V band dump and 3" TBE

TR magna injection with foward facing TB

Bosch 550cc injectors

Malpassi FPR

Camtech 'stage 5' cam (will supply with a 'turbo cam' that has is spooling off the stall also)

Ford C4 auto, reverse pattern shifter, 2600 stall

NSX 330mm front rotors and PBR HSV twin spot front calipers

1" brake master cylinder

EMS 4044 standalone ECU

Bosch 045 external fuel pump (its massive)

Facet lift pump, fuel surge tank (couple of liters cant remember)

Pedders race shocks and springs, pedders sway bars (rear not fitted yet)

Autometer: boost, water temp, oil temp, oil pressure, pyrometer, stoichimeter gauges

19 row oil cooler

S14 alloy radiator

The bad:

BYO wheels or sort out a deal if you like them

No rego (your issue, for what it is you cant argue)

Is in undercoat but has been fully pannel beated BAR the bonnet (big money spent to beat it dead straight)

We want to swap for something newer and preferably Nissan. Toyota is fine. Here is a list:

Nissan;

S13+ silvia

R32+ skyline

A31+ cefiro

Toyota;

MA70, JZA70 supra

MZ20, GZ20 old soarer

JZZ30, UZZ30 soarer

No price on it, it owes us a LOT of money, but we are happy to swap for a car of interest and we can discuss the terms of swap with the interested party.

Think outside the box guys:

A flick of paint away from being a very cool/quick/straight old school car

An LSD and some bags away from being a formidable drag car

A 5 speed away from being a really cool/unique drift car

The turbo comes on lightning quick in this thing and barely needs to rev to make big boost.

Also have a set of very speshhhiieeewll pistons for the right offer (cash offers will be considered). Have an offset gudgin and teflon coated in the right places (will totally bring this motor into its own).

Wait........

    • Ok I get you. But isn’t the butterfly intake a headache with the +T?  see this is my plan so far but please advise me into the right direction.  Nistune Ecu, 1000cc Bosch injectors, TD05 or TD06 Kinugawa turbo using stock rb25det exhuast manifold, walbro fuel pump unsure of model I think it’s 450/460, spitfire coils and sparks to suit and a R35 MAF sensor and boost sensor.    I was thinking maybe do a cheap eBay plenum $400-500 or try find a stock det neo intake. I think I’d port match it so it’s getting the full capacity but open to advice please.  Thanks
    • The issue now is the 'fuel cut' while driving, and when it happend, it does not stall. This, I did not test the fuel pressure while driving as I cannot with a fuel pressure gauge. I do have Nistune logs, yes. I have also replaced the MAF Sensor.   Also related to the FPG Fuel Hanger – I just realized that I need a Deutsch Crimp Tool to crimp some cables for the FPG Fuel Hanger. Need to purchase additional cables as the kit only included 2, which are for the float. FPG has not responded to my emails so far since purchasing. I thought about taking it to someone and having it done professionally, but I am reluctant since everyone I took it to messed up in some way.
    • There's a good German place in Brisbane if youre up for the drive 😛
    • The German place in Cabramatta was rock solid, fresh pretzel cooked to order back then. Then it went all quiet, after all the poker machines were removed, then I believe it closed for good. I did drive past the other week and noticed outdoor lighting a big screen, but no idea what is there now.
    • Yeah I suspect even if you hold airmass per cycle/cylinder constant if you get too far away from stock you're still going to have problems running the factory tune within the bounds of the factory load scale. Cams, different displacement/rod ratio, etc. I'm just lucky that the GTIII-SS with wastegate boost + CA compliance cats is pretty much equivalent to stock turbos. When I have actual space I can finally get it tuned and modify the fuel system for flex fuel to 100% handle any detonation concerns when cranking the boost to whatever those dinky turbos can put out.
