kaino
Just bought my first turbo car an r33 dont really know too much about turbos. It has a GFB stealth bov one of the ones that you can adjust the venting noise level, it was fairly loud so i went to adjust it down to see it was already set to the lowest setting which should have no noise. But i still have the bov noise, what am i missing? Mick_o
To the best of my knowledge mate you will never get a bov to be completely silent does it vent to atmosphere or plumback into the air intake? kaino
Setting it to the lowest noise setting has the trumpet blocked of completely, leaving it to plumback into the air intake. mad082
if you have the stock bov on and a pod filter then you will get the bov noise, simply because the sound is coming back out through the pod. if you want it to be quiet then you need to put a stock airbox back on Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/383402-gfb-stealth-bov-set-to-no-noise-but-still-have-noise/#findComment-6116233 Share on other sites
