    • Hi guys, thanks for the replies.  I will have to wait till summer to test properly, but it short cycles both when heating and cooling. I’ve ordered a new internal temp sensor that sits under the vent in the steering wheel also, GTSBOY, I have an Apexi FC ecu, I’m assuming I won’t be able to diagnose or would it still work? Could the ecu be causing the problem??   the pressure switch is quite cheap I will get a new one and try it out, hopefully it doesn’t require purging the refrigerant again?
    • Do you know what size restrictor? Just flushed it with the Prestone flush & then water numerous times until the water ran clear, still looks rusted & will no doubt cause trouble later.
    • you can enter your VIN (the original, japanese one) here to find the correct part#: https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan however, after all this time it is more likely to be a wiring issue than the sender
    • no, it was the same here, just flurries but no need to get the toboggan out....but it is exactly the sort of days where its good to have some inside jobs on the list. Speaking of which the fuga is driving properly after 2 1/2 years.....but that is a whole other thread
    • And yes, put in the restrictor while you are there; a standard engine is fine with a little less oil and you are less likely to run out of oil if you have sustained high revs for any reason eg visit a track one day. How did you clean the cooling system
