Is This Turbo Comp Wheel Cracked

Looking at buying these nismo turbos but received the pics and noticed the crack in the centre of the comp wheel near the shaft on one turbo.

Does this mean the turbos fkd and the wheel will explode when run at high rpm? Looks like it will be out of balance.

Apparently the owner had it checked out by MTQ turbo systems in wetherill park, sydney and they confirmed that its normal and they do that as to evenly balance the turbo wheel however I have never seen any gtr turbos balanced like this and the other turbo he has does not have this issue. Is this guy just messing with me or is what MTQ say is true?

you mean the chunck missing? thats just from balancing. all turbos have it.

I'd say it looks bad because of the lighting/angle of the photo giving it the dark patches. Don't stress too much, just a bad pic.
