I've never shown too much interest in this, but its interesting to finally see how some of these aero devices and philosophies actually work

excellent shots around the front suspension and VERY interesting shots around the exhaust that is clearly blowing the floor

it obviously wouldn't have anywhere near the effect on downforce as directing it right into the diffuser did

some teams have chosen to blow the rear wing instead of the floor

so i expect some variation through the field come melbourne

They were on the car last year too. They're cut a lot higher up this year though.

I'd say its been photoshopped in there. There's no way you could illuminate the logo and have the rest of the nose black.

But I'd agree it's gonna be a step nose. Why else have an otherwise almost complete outline of the car and then a whopping great blackspot at the fugly part? The other black spot is the exhaust positioning for obvious reasons.
