Anyone got some web space I can upload approx. 15Mb of video to for hosting?

Great photos Nightcrawler.:D

Yes Tim, my son and I took heaps of photos and decided to regist a site and upload our best shots. Spent quite a few hours to do!

Have a close look at the picture "Whoa"!

Hey all, let me know if the photos were OK?

Looking foward to view Nightcrawler's movies!:uh-huh:

Graham:burnout:

I haven't done anything yet about it.

I'm going on a cruise up to Colinsgrove with the SVD club on the weekend so I'll fill up and see if it happens again. If it leaks again then I'll get it checked out.

BTW on that "Whoa" photo is that a car coming towards the camera on the crest in the distance?

The Whoa photo is John overtaking us all and Andrew pulled out in front of him. That's why the picture is a bit smokey!:burnout: We were a bit far back to see properly and I think the other morone R32 pulled out as well? This is before the crest and bridge.

Hey Nightcrawler, I have found a site you could upload your video, dunno if they are any good!

Click here to go to Digital Media Works

Hope it works???

Graham:)

Thanks to you all for letting me know that my cruise photos are working, and thanks for your comments on them. It is handy to have a passenger to take on the go pictures. I have seen tN^'s pictures where he has had links from the NissanSilvia threads a few times and thought they are great! Thanks to Nightcrawler for his pictures on the Yahoo site which I thought fantastic to use!

Can't wait for the next cruise!:burnout:

Graham:D

Finally have encoded and uploaded the burnout video ....

note - beware 56Kers this is a 2.2Mb file

- 56K download time approx. 8-10 minutes (depending on connection speed)

Will put all the videos and pics on a CD and keep a few copies in my car, please register your interest here if you want one .... can catch up sometime this weekend if you wanna grab one off me!

Thanks for your pics Graham, I have downloaded yours and will put them on the CD as well .... in fact - I have a HEAP of Skyline drags, dynos, drifting etc that I can chuck on the CD as well for those interested. Let me know.

Have edited the pic names of my Yahoo photos to make Doglet and (_W.4.S.P_) happy :D

Sorry I couldn't remember your names fellas .... /dumb me :)

Enjoy .... btw did everyone figure out how to get the avi of Brad doing his thing?

Like I said I'll have CDs in my car if anyone wants originals .... give me a dial 0414 904 451.

Andrew

Andrew, putting it all on CD is a good idea, as they can disappear on the computer and internet. Yes, I would like the CD! Will dial you soon. Fantastic movie of the burnout, it good to see it in the action. I did not see it properly as I was trying to take as many still shots on my camera as possible.:)

    • You know how your car rolled through a fence in your last jacking escapade? Scissor jacks increase the likely hood of that sort of thing happening immensely!
    • http://calfinn.com.au/product/1500kg-standard-trolley-jack-cj-2t-c/1500kg-standard-trolley-jack-cj-2t-c   I have this and fits under a S3 33 GTR with no issues. Purchased in 2009 and not one issue. It was $950 back then. Not cheap but something so important isn’t worth cheaping out on.
    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
    • Welcome! New member myself, but I had an R33 back in 2002. Best advice I could give, based on my experience: if you're running the factory turbo, be very conservative with boost. I made the mistake of just fiddling around with the boost controller and cranking the boost for fun, and the end result was my intake pipes popping off frequently from the constant deluge of oil that was being blown into the recirc by the stressed-out turbo, which itself was siphoning oil from the engine and farting it out both sides of its centre bearing (or something to that effect). If I could do it all again, I would have gotten a new turbo and had a tune dialled in professionally and then just left it alone! Funny you mention the metal shavings in the gearbox, as I had the same thing - the probe plug (magnetic drain plug, essentially) would come out caked with shavings. At least it was doing its job. Not sure if that's just sacrificial wear and part of the deal, or if my gearbox was shagged, but I wasn't abusing it. Enjoy the R33 - they're a dying breed, and if they weren't $35k+ on CarSales in Queensland, I might have picked up one of those again, instead of the 370GT I own now (though I'm loving the 370GT, that big 3.7L V6 just hits different).
    • Howdy folks. I owned an R33 back in 2002, which was thoroughly beyond my capacity (financially speaking) to maintain/insure, so we parted ways in 2004. Fast forward 21 years (to literally yesterday, in fact) and I'm now the proud owner of a 2007 V36 370GT. I'm happily surprised by how much power the VQ37VHR makes, compared to the RB25DET, considering the latter is turbocharged. I had planned to add a turbo at some point but I'm on the fence about whether I'll even need it (though I do love the sudden onset of extra torque). Any other 370GT owners around the traps, I'd love to hear about your experiences with this car (good and bad).
