Hey guys

Seriously thinking of selling my R32 which I've owned for almost 10 years now.

Was a show car then stripped down for a full rebuild into an immaculate streeter.

Want to invest some more money in the business so time to sell some toys.

R32 GTS shell (stripped down to bare metal repaired and currently in hi fill)

R32 GTR front and rear guards (all genuine parts)

R32 GTR front bar

N1 Side skirts

Carbon roof overlay (real carbon not vinyl shit)

Carbon front lip

Carbon GTR bonnet

Carbon boot lid

Carbon GTR wing

Carbon N1 boot lip

Removed rear tow hooks and holes in bar plastic welded

N1 rear window (no wiper)

Car is getting painted R35 GTR Titanium Grey after new years.

All inner guards and under body painted in fresh under body black.

Full (EVERYTHING) re-trim in black leather with carbon fibre accent pieces

R34 GTR style seats

Brand new B/C pillar trims

Immaculate dash

Brand new black carpet

Immaculate un-cut wiring harnesses

No bogy half assed wiring here

Only thing this car needs is a crazy engine and gearbox and it will be one of the neatest R32s on the road.

Ideally id like 10-12K.

Yes price is high for a roller but It is a completely rebuilt fresh car.

And paint work is worth 10K alone.

No hidden repairs filled with bog, accident damage, shitty paint or worn trim, etc, etc.

Its like getting in a brand new car.

never gonna happen mate

but good luck

Thanks for your input buddy, regardless of how useless it may be.

Actually had a guy come look at it yesterday and make an offer.

sorry did'nt mean to be negative

it was just stating fact it aint a gtr so it's just a roller that is missing more than a motor and box

paint jobs don't really add value to a car let alone a shell that is goin to need many more thousands before it's complete

as most people who buy shells have big plans

but then again you never know

and wtf is a gronk

1. no one said it was a GTR so I don't know what you're getting at there?

2. For someone who wants a perfect car it will add value.

I know if I was planning on building a streeter I would rather pay more for a car thats been stripped back to bare metal than a heap of shit thats full of bog and rust.

To go and strip a 32 to bare metal and repair any damage and paint it so its like new is gonna cost an easy 20k.

Its not full of rust and shitty repairs, and covered by multiple layers of mis-matched paint like most R32s going round for under 10k.

3. When i say all it needs is an engine and box thats all it needs. I don't see how you can say it needs more than that when you don't know the car.

Its slightly more than a roller considering its only 2 months away from being a complete car minus engine and box.

Like I said the car has everything, suspension, brakes, A/C, heater, wiring, glass etc etc etc.

Oh and BTW here is the definition of GRONK

Well, i hear the word gronk everyday and this is my understanding of the meaning

Said by a male: usually means your an a-hole or a d-head

Said by a female: usually means your a sleaze

The term gronk is more commonly used by middle-eastern teens

Thanks dude.

Apparently I'm a dreamer.

Some guys on here who have no idea on ho much it costs to build cars would prefer a rust bucket to start a build.

I think I'm going to keep it though, but I guess if the right money comes along ill let it go.

Try this bloke, he has a more realistic budget than most dreamers on here regarding how much it cost to build a decent car...

And even then your shell is a bargain for whats included in asking price...

Maybe chuck some pictures of interior fit out up as i recall that being a work of art in itself...

Is this shell still for sale ??

yea mate, i have someone who is pretty much ready to buy it, just waiting for his other car to sell.

But no deposit has been taken yet.

Where's the car upto in terms of being finished ??

Do you know if you can just bolt up a GTR driveline straight into it?

How long are you going to wait for this other buyer ??

    • Hi all,  I am in the market for an R200 longnose diff out of a Z31 300ZX, or S12 RSX, DR30 skyline, or similar, in a 3.9 ratio.  Preferably a late model one with the M12 crownwheel bolts.  The only easy to find advert for one of these was my ad back in 2007 when I sold it on this forum.  I sold the diff as I had sold the car it goes to, but as it turns out, after 18 years I got the car back late last year, so now I'm looking for the diff !  If anyone knows where to find a longnose R200 LSD with the M12 crownwheel bolts, drop me a line at [email protected] - Bonus paid if soomeone comes up with the original diff (stranger things have happened !).  Cheers   Ben D
    • Hi everyone, I used to post here a bit from 2004-2013, when I owned various Nissans, in particular my S12 RSX gazelle, which was sold in 2007.  As luck would have it, after an 18 year hiatus, the car found its way back to me last year, and over the past 11 months I have had the pleasure of restoring it with my kids.  One thing that I am after in particular is a 3.9 ratio R200 LSD for it.  I actually sold the one out of the car here back in 2007 , and it would be incredible if I could track down who I sold it to, so I can see how they have progressed over the years (and to be honest, to see whether I can get the diff back !).  Anyways, hi all and let me know "where are the R200 Longnose diffs all at these days ?  Cheers Ben D
    • Arms will be the same as the G35 or 350Z, but as above, there was a change in the lower control arm where it connects to the ball joint.  That said, you can remove the ball joint cone from your old ball joints and fit them to the new ball joints.  To be honest, I didn't think the ball joints themselves were different. The main ball joint is a bit awkward to replace, you really need to remove the steering knuckle to press out the old one.  Some people have used tools to remove it in place, but it just seemed too hard to get to. If you are going to press out/in that ball joint, then you may as well just replace the bushings in the LCA and the compression rod.  You can buy the compression rod bushing from Nissan, but the LCA bushes, you will need to go aftermarket. Much cheaper than buying the whole arm.
    • Ha, well, it's been.... a bit of a journey. Things have taken much longer than I'd hoped. I'll probably put up a thread at some stage. Hopefully soon. The car's not done any kms since my update in June though, put it that way.
    • Here's the chart for fuel pressure vs. current draw, assuming your base fuel pressure is 3 bar and you run like 0.5bar boost on WOT, you should only momentarily hit 9amps here and there. (Ignore my prev post, I cannot read a chart these days it seems)
