Animated icons question

After accessing this site on another computer i noticed many of the icons, like funkymonkey's R32 picture, were animated. Anyways, they dont do anything on my computer. Am i missing a program or something? and if so what is it and where can i download it. Thanks.

Sure, it's an AMD Athlon 1800XP+ running Windows XP Professional. It's got all the latest updates from Microsoft installed, and i haven't really noticed any problems on other sites. Latest Direct X drivers as well.

go to tools -> internet option ->Go to the Advanced Tab -> Under the multimedia subsection make sure the "Play animations in web pages" is ticked.
