Japan In June/july

Hi guys

We're planning to go back to JP in June/July this year. What is it like during such time in JP? Any drift/track event? Scenic drive, underground racing...? I've been gathering a few info about things to do and see from the Japan Photo Diary section but it’s all through various seasons.

Please shed some lights, name a few places, decent hotel, where to go, what to see, dining......etc. Hopefully I from now till then I could put together a kick ass itinerary.

Also if anyone know where and which is the best Onsen, nothing too pricey ?

what do you class as decent hotel? 3 star? 5 star?

i've stayed at shinagawa prince main tower 3 times, love the service, love the location ( 2min walk to JR shinagawa, where all of the shinkansen trains stop at, aswel as the yamanote line). from memory i think it was about $170/night

and for onsen, depends on how far you want to travel, i've been down to 2 places near nagasaki. about a 9hr train ride to one of them, the other is about 11 hr

also, if you want to pay $33, you can get a limousine bus from narita to the hotels doorstep via the limousine bus. so no worrying about taxi/train timetables.
