I'm suprised this hasn't been established already?

who does swimming around here?

how far do you swim?

how long do you swim for?

do you swim in a pool or the ocean?

Does anyone do any open water races??

I swim 3-5 times a week, anywhere from 2-4km in the Ocean.

Damn I haven't swum properly for years...tested my bi-lateral breathing the other day and I still have it :D

Used to love the swim carnivals as a kid/teenager and swimming in squad. Now find the idea of swimming in a warm public pool a bit :/

Tommy Hafey swims in the bay 365 days a year. No shit he told me. Champion.

The Harold Holt pool has an awesome 50m outdoor pool which in the winter is awesome and spooky, love going late at night when the condensation is rising and you get out and it's freezing cold.

Usually just swim 1km breaststroke but not so much of that in my routine at the moment.

I hate the ocean, love to swim in pools though.

I just dislike the salt, sand and have an irrational fear of jellyfish, sharks and stingrays. Hell, I don't even like crabs.

I am opposite I love the ocean, ok with outdoor salt pools... Hate indoor pools...

i reckon it depends on what temp the pool is at, prefer outdoor pools with temp less than 18 degrees.

bay at the moment is around 19 degrees.

Optimal temp is 15 degrees... but i swim all year round! winter and everything in between!

get's to 6 degrees.

Posted earlier about stroke correction. The highlight of the week is now my weekly coaching session. Having a coach through the winter has kept my motivation up, the drills and technique improvement she has given me has been money well spent and enjoyed.

    • Oh please, when has anybody really been "done" when they say that? 😂
    • The part where you claim the car "is done" means you won't...

    • Hey keep the ideas coming, I'm always keen on projects! But, problem fixed!  I got a cheapie ozito scope from Bunnings and had a good look in and around the bearing and sensor hole. I couldn't see a smoking gun but the bearing looked a bit strange, especially when comparing with a new one. I thought the cover had come off the bearing magnets.  Sorry for pics of a screen, I didn't have an SD card.     Good thing I had the old one to inspect. So, given I'm like a pit crew with wheel bearings and luckily I had a spare bearing because I f**ked up my parts order, I decided to just smash it out. Got the old one out in about an hour. So much easier when the parts haven't had a chance to rust together yet. 😂 And, well, found the problem.    In the second pic at about the 8 o'clock position, you'll see what I think is the tip of the old sensor.  The new sensor has definitely been rubbing but it's all intact, just a little shiny so I'm hoping it's fine.  The car brakes perfectly now and no errors.  I think the job took about 2.5h in the end. 👍🏻 I really appreciate the help in here as usual. Thanks guys.
