Just Japs Cooling Pro Radiators

Has anyone here bought a cooling pro rad from just jap? how good are they? going to buy one for my 34 turbo but hearing from some that they tend to leak. Just wanting to know people with skylines input on this.

Had one in the 32GTR, mate had one in his 180sx and still using it for the v8 that is in it now...

They were/are good for the price. The only issue I have seen is that the early one's years ago had crappy filler necks and tended to leak. They fixed that pretty quick after that.

Running one in the 32, my fan attacked it when the water pump went, still not leaking..

Mine lasted about 2 years before it started leaking.

The water temp sensor bung in the bottom of the radiator isn't the best fitting, using a normal o-ring gasket mine still leaked so I had to use gasket maker to get a seal.

Also, on R33 the top tank doesn't have a cutout (it's too high on the passenger side) so if you are running standard airbox the intake duct won't fit properly. Not an issue if you're using a pod filter I guess.

They're cheap radiators but they do the job. Fenix make radiators with the correct relief on the top side if you have an R33. Haven't looked at the R34 model.

Ive got one on my gtt and have had it for about two years and done about 5 track days. Works really well
