Problem for the pros

Hi

After purchasing my car I changed the timing belt. After a couple of months my car started to ping when boosting(stock boost). I was not sure what it iwas. When I checked my timing it was 25 degrees, so i put it back to 15. Does the TPS have anything to do with this? I have also had it over 180 without cutting out. Some ppl say it has an aftermarket chip. What do you think happened?

I might take it to Ice performance to get it all fixed.
