Lock Button In The Car Key Not Working

Hi all,

Since yesterday , lock button in my car remote is.not working... but the unlock button works fine and i can lock the car with the key....button clicks as normal as well...

Any ideas what this could be and anything to do about it..

Probably just a loose wire, open up the remote and check.

Try locking and unlocking the car manually by key. If it works then, it's the central looking and/or door actuator from what I've been told. Door and window issues are a common problems with our cars.

Ya i can lock the car manually with the key, with the central locking button on the driver side door.. its just lock button in the remote not working n i have only one remote key..

I will open up the remote today eve n see....

Good point I had the same issue. Lock on the remote would only work for the driver side and not the passenger side (Most likely it's the actuator), however if their both not working it might be loose wiring on the remote.

• rawzz_v35 did you happen to figure out what the problem is? sorry im bringing up an old thread but i too am having this problem and i just purchased the car not long ago, please shed some light on this issue, cheers
