Just to clear it up these guys dont make ones cheap for 33 gtst's do they? :(

To be honest mate I really don't know. They don't even list Skyline on their site so what I've done is searched by the Bilstein part number. I guess if it appears in Bilstein catalogue then just hit up google and you may get lucky.

Bilsteins have arrived. In my possession!!!

I will be getting them installed on the weekend. Any tips/tricks I should know?

Can't wait to get them on the road.

For any would be purchasers, I ordered them on the 7th of May, shipping commenced on the 11th and I recieved them on the 29th. 3 week turnaround.

As a special bonus, I did not get whacked with any customs or GST at all....boooom!! Total cost AU$1240

Awesome man - lucky with the customs, I got smashed though so I expect you to get a first round of beers

Actually, I have something to ask - get you see if you can remove the sleeve, ABS securing tab, that has a small metal tab welded on it from the fronts - You need to remove both springs (main and keeper), springs seats and the top large adjuster nut.

Why I'm asking that is that the sleeve, in between two adjuster nuts, positions the bottom adjuster really low so you can't really lower the car that much. Without the sleeve the bottom adjuster nut will sit just underneath the big adjuster, just like it does on the rears, and instead of the silly sleeve you can just use hose clamps or something similar to secure the ABS cable.

Let me know if you can remove it - you may need to slide it over the blue plastic shroud, or see if that can be also removed. Shouldn't take more than 5mins if you still don't have top hats on the suckers.

cheers

I'll have a look at it when I'm at the mechanics. I am not interested in being that low anymore. I have Hipermax on now and with the V-Spec front diffuser its a massive bitch!

Do I'm looking to add some height if anything.

I will see what the mechanic reckons about taking that sleeve off.

Check that out. Looks like they make them for all GTRs.

Not sure that the part number is.

Got them installed today. Not sure about the sleeve still unfortunately. Maybe call Heasmans in Sydney, they will be able to tell you. (02) 9516 1182

They are soooo much better than my Hipermax. Bumps are way less harsh. Its like a new car.

Thanks for the link. I managed to get the part number off there.

Just tried ordering off the TVH website but the german language has thrown me off. I've emailed them so hopefully I'll get a response on how to order.

Good to hear they're going well. I can't wait to replace my teins in the gtr :)

Yeah that's the problem I had. I was going to go through them but it doesn't look like they sell the PSS9s for the R32 model. The TVH does list the 32 model but it's all in a different language. I've sent them both an email so hopefully I get a reply.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
