So hello there! I'm a proud owner of an R32 GTS4 which i picked up last weekend and currently getting things ready for the road.

Can't wait to get into it and take it for a descent spin around Brissy. Got afew things to do first and hopefully by the end of the week i'll have it on the road.

Just got the 32 back from the mechanics. I took possession of my baby on Saturday From John and i"m very pleased with the purchase. Thanks John 2thumbsup.gif . I knew it wasn't gonna be just the boots that need fixing and got my new baby at a good price. Roughly adding it all up, it isn't too bad considering it's a 1989 model and the repairs been done by the previous owner. So it worked out well so far. I hope no more gremlins pop up and set me back further cause i just want to go for a cruise in my new baby. Almost std with coilovers, 18's and boost controller but running std boost. It's even got a std side mount IC and std automatic front lower lip.

Here's a list of what i need done for RWC on my baby. I

* Exhaust front pipe replaced ( has a descent size hole on it)

* Clutch master and Slave cylinder

* Mount the pod filter and get a cover for it

* Steering rack boots and wheel alignment

* LHF Tie rod end and rack end

* LHF Lower control inner ball joint

* Front CV shafts ( still good, might only need boots replaced)

* All 3 wiper blades

* Engine clean up under vehicle

Diognostic Fault eng11( crank angle sensor or circuit ) reseted this morning by Rolscar Mechanical, Darra on Station Rd. He didn't mention the 4wd system but will get that done asap.

ohmy.gif I didn't expect that much stuff to be stuffed but if it needs to, well you then have to. huh.gif It ain't that bad, just starting to go.

Just hope it ain't gonna be over $700 to fix it ( wishfull thinking). Does anyone know how much it'll set me back?

I've got it booked into DRIVELINE SERVICES AUSTRALIA tomorrow and was quoted $300 for all the boots fitted but will ask them to get whatever they can do fom the list above done.

Does anyone have parts that i can buy for the repairs? happy.gif Would really like a front pipe and even the cat too, i suppose i can pull it off my ma61 7mgte but it's custom and i'll have to modify it to fit ( couldn't be stuffed atm, just want to drive it  ). Any tips anyone? smile.gif any help is appreciated with thanks in advance. Cheers

BTW what kinda oil will i need to use for the 4WD reservior in the rear boot? Any oil preferrence?

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
