R34gymjunkie
Done a bit of research but want to know ur thoughts, since getting my 3" turbo back my car has been hesitating when on boost and only sometimes, only happens when the car is warm or on a warm days, plugs replaced and gapped at .8 (bkr7es), stock intercooler, running 12psi (r34gtt), once the car hits 5500 it picks up goes great, and if I feed the accelerator on slowly it doesn't hesitate, I was thinkin coils or afm? Moodles2
12psi on a stock ECU will hit R&R (rich and retard), probably hitting the limit of the factory sidemount also. R34gymjunkie
Where can I find some info on this rich and retard? Not familiar with it? Did do a search, might wind the boost down a bit and see how I go... R34gymjunkie
Sorry read ur post wrong, its definetly rich n retard cos its fine past 5500, i am running the boost straight off the actuator(r32) might just buy a controller n wind it down Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/398010-car-hesitating-coil-packs-afm-got-me-stumped/#findComment-6320823 Share on other sites
TTT
you can't wind DOWN below what the actuator is set to. perhaps stick your stock actuator on and then use a controller to bring it up. Or I could sell you an adjustable actuator I have Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/398010-car-hesitating-coil-packs-afm-got-me-stumped/#findComment-6320994 Share on other sites

TTT
That idle issue I've had before and it was because the solder in the afm had become brittle. There are some DIY threads on here if you search for "AFM Solder". Or it could just be that your afm plug has become brittle from removing it so man times.
