Has anyone used the 2005 onwards 350z suspension spring and shocks on a v35 coupe? I understand the rear springs are stiffer and the shocks have had the rebound and damping adjusted for better ride on the 350z, but how will this go on the v35? Really only doing this for the lowering effect and they are the only 350z springs i can find.

Some say that the revised is better for the v35 providing you use the matched shocks and others say the opposite on g35driver......

Hi Vimana, I had lower king springs on stock V shocks for a while, which effectively dropped the ride height and didn't seem to effect the ride quality. Worth a look imo, instead of replacing the entire suspension right out of the gate. I looked into the Z shocks too, but wanted to eventually replace the stocks with fully adjustable coil-overs. How much are the stock Z33 shocks if you don't mind me asking?

I've read on driver that the revised springs wouldn't drop the height in the rear at all?

at one point I was just about to get a set of z shocks and springs from an 03 track myself but decided that i'll just go with a set of coils..

conceptZperformance have pretty decent prices, eibach pro-kit for the v35 goes for like $245USD and will give it a decent drop.

(Tein S-Techs are actually cheaper)

but yea.

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
