Next Infiniti G Series To Get Mercedes Engines

We all know infiniti is on its way to Aust....I came across this article whilst reading the Go AUTO this morning, not sure if any of you have read it yet but if not here it is:

Hey Marie,

I read similar but earlier articles when Infiniti and Mercedes were announcing their tech-sharing partnership. Infiniti are looking to expand their engine line-up and develop engines for the Euro market, as Infiniti is trying to make it big in Europe since it has already established the market in the US. Also, I think Mercedes are looking to get knowledge on shared platform technology (e.g. FM platform = Z, V/G & Stagea, etc), as it does reduce development cost. So its a good thing overall, I'm just not sure how things are gonna work since Infiniti has a partnership with Red Bull Racing F1, which is akin to the Renault-Nissan alliance and Mercedes is another competitor.

Yeh they are only going to be using the desil 4cyl from merc, they are going to be rebuilding the VQ also for turbo model's
