03 V35 350Gt Alarm Help

I've had my V35 for about a month now and i still haven't got my head around how the alarm works and it's very embarassing when it goes off in public..

Any help/tips how to prevent the alarm from going off would be greatly appreciated

if its the dealer fitted one - keep the windows closed.

i'm not actually sure, i think it is yes. But i also mean with locking/unlocking the car it seems to go off completely at random i can't seem to figure out a pattern yet.

if it goes off randomly, is the interior light on? I know my landcruiser set the alarm off if the interior light was left to on...or if the battery was low... get your battery checked.

cheers for the reply, nah the interior light is never on and i think i do need to get my battery checked. Have you had a similar experience?
