Yeah you gotta save your petrol for the snow ay ant?

Who thinks ant should drive the gtr to the snow and practice rallying?

He says he's not but I think he will.

Not overly.. just trying to limit the times i take the gtr to sydney.. ive got plenty on around then, and if i take it to sydney i would rather it be a biggish event (like offical SAUNSW stuff) or for a drive on good roads aorund there etc..

haha, no way im taking that down there.. + snowboards will not fit, and they aint going on the roof!

ok well... i guess we'll see you down here when it becomes "biggish" lol

Sorry mate, didnt mean to offend anyone.. just like to limit hwy kms i put on the car..

Would rather spend the time and effort developing more of a scene up here.. same way very little sydney guys would make the effort to come to something we organise up here etc which is understandable...

note to self,if planning meet or something with mat shall give him alternate time so he shows up when others do  haha

Ya Kent!! :P This morning wasnt my fault, waited for 25mins at work to swap cars and then had to go to Dads house to get the damn thing as his missus was sick from a big night! Fail!

If I can be bothered I may drive down.

CBF with petrol though really :P

Thats cus Petrol sucks! You need some jungle juice :D

Yea i dont think i will be making it down to that one unfortunately.

:(

WHY? If you flip you wont damage the paint, and while the car is on the boards you will save fuel :P

Hahaha you will see one or more of us man! It is a fair hike but ill be heading that way anyway ;)

Didnt know you owned an R32? What type of R32 is it?

BakedDildo!!!!!! :woot:

I dont own one, if you had read along the posts you would see its a new car to our Newy Crew, it'll be next door!

And its a GREEN one :whistling:

Your a clown -

Weight Reduction (Carpet and Spare Tire deleted from the boot, Floor Mats deleted for track days).

I've got a feeling I'll be putting a kitchen together on the 17th or at least putting stuff away when my wife tells me where to put things

Sounds sucktacular

I promise to drive up when a meet is organized up your way.... it's about time for some unity damnit! my only problem might be work commitments... other than that... I'm there.

And no offence taken Anthony, i actually found the irony funny :action-smiley-069:

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
