Is It Ok To Run No Lower And Upper Timing Covers

They are there for a reason.

If a little road chip flies up and gets caught in there it may cause the belt to slip (anymore than 1 tooth either way and bye bye engine), most likely it will cause it to wear early.

You should totally do it though.
