if u spoke to sydneykid he would be able to tell u about highflowing ur exsisting turbocharger. or just visit the gcg website. www.gcg.com.au and have a look there. prices on there are sometimes a little higher than the reality price so email them and ask.

I'll start by saying my car has the same mods as yours + a few more (engine an power wise) and I just recently completed the same thing your looking at.

my upgrades from where your at were:

Microtech LTX-12 ecu + handset

Malpassi adjustable fuel regulator

largest bosch in tank fuel pump available

HKS dump pipe

Hi-Flowed turbo

(standard injectors)

currently on a safe tune running 18psi = 224rwkw (got 238rwkw@22psi)

my car had 172rwkw before the upgrade.

cars power is very smooth and progressive, but full boost is @ about 4500rpm and of course its a bit more fuel hungry.

after all of this the car is being re-tuned (fine tuned) in 2 weeks which I'm told we can change a few things to the timing etc... to bring the turbo spool up to be sooner....but will wait and see.

The hi-flow is a great option, you get a new turbo (internally) so no question to it's reliability an how long it will last and It's cheap, you can exchange your turbo for the Hi-flow (round $1400-$1500 mark exchange) plus no modification needed to ANYTHING.

But if I could wind back time, i would probably have gone a Apex'i AX53B70 as i'm informed are a GREAT turbo that will produce the same amount of kw's and be much more streetable (spool up earlier). I looked at HKS but believe the Apex'i is a better street turbo where as the HKS tend to be out an out power?

(just what I've heard and discussed with turbo specialists.......they are both awsomw turbos.......before i get abuse from HKS fans forum wide)

anyway, goodluck with it all!!, there's my 2cents, hope it helped...

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
