Hi guys,

This was up for sale a while ago by Blitz one of the admins on here, please find below link to his ad.

http://www.skylinesa...ost__p__6317686

My number is - Zero four 17 159 662

I have converted this to RWD and all the modifications to run in this format have been completed and the engine is currently sitting in a black 32 Gtst to show how it fits.

I have recently purchased a new Subaru WRX and decided not to finish the project at this stage so will be selling the engine as it was received with the sump modifications done for anyone looking to convert their Skyline.

I am looking for $4200 and am pretty firm on price and may consider seperating the head from the block if the price is decent enough.

I am willing to sell the 32 rolling shell with it for extra if anyone wants it, I have a full genuine GTR front end for the car as well, the price for that would be $6500 pretty firm.

May swap for some go fast bits for the WRX if you happen to have anything and cash or even a standard 32 Gtst as a friend is looking to purchase one.

Please find below a cut and paste of the information from previous owner;

I have for sale my RB26DETT engine setup out of my late model Series 3 R33 GTR.

This engine is in excellent condition and in stock standard trim, right down to stock turbo's, dump pipes and injectors.

To give you some background, I purchased my GTR as a Grade 4.5 with 84,000 Km's from Japan in late 2009 after an extensive search for the right car, and with the exception of a cat back exhaust and Power FC, the the engine was and remains standard. Once the car arrived it was given a full 100k service including new Timing Belt, Water Pump. full fluid flush, plugs, then

a compression test which revealed perfect results across all 6 cylinders, and finally a dyno tune for safety which was performed at one of Sydney's premier GTR building workshops.

The car has been used only very sparingly since coming into the country as plans for a build were put in place almost immediately, and has now covered only 87,000's

The engine has been religiously serviced, or rather pedantically over-serviced at my request by Just Jap Racing in Sydney using only the best Motul lubricants and fluids.

Wow thats cheap

3 cars and 1 car space, had a buyer for the shell it was in so just needed to get rid of it quickly, not happy with the price but sick of the new WRX sitting on the street as it voids my insurance.

    • Have a vb in honour of the car comming back
    • It was a great, but typical track day, and some VB was ingested at the night time debrief 🤪
    • And so, to round this out, I couldn't be happier to confirm @MBS206 has decided to buy the car. He drove down from sunny QLD with a trailer last week and it is off to its new home today. I'll let Matt confirm on next steps but I understand broadly that the plan is to leave it pretty much as is, and just get some quality wheel time with a nicely balanced car that is pretty much track ready. There are a few a jobs still to be done first but nothing too major and I think its a very smart buy Dinner last night at the Paragon with a round of VBs (mostly) for Neil
    • Well, 50 pages and the end of a chapter for this car. We took it out for a shakedown at Wakie yesterday, and everything went well. There were a couple of niggles: - Oil cooler fitting leak - tightened, cleaned, stopped leaking - Radiator cap overflow fitting was leaking....Mark called it, the overflow fitting was threaded in and not tight....tightened, tested and held pressure - Small oil leak at the rear of the block, probably the turbo oil feed - too hot to get at it comfortably but probably just needs to be nipped up - leak at the driver's side rear brake line where it meets the hardline. Fitting wasn't loose, so Matt backed it off and back on, no further leaks - there's also a leak somewhere on the top of the fuel tank, maybe that cross over fuel line - that was has been left to fix when its on a hoist Otherwise than those niggles the car went great, turned great and stopped great so it was a very successful day out. I'm always really nervous when a car first hits the track after a long break, especially with a brand new engine as well but it was great. VID-20251011-WA0007.mp4  Big thanks to @The Bogan who dropped by and helped out, @MBS206 and my nephew Lachlan the apprentice.  Neil's wife Mel also surprised the hell out of all of us by dropping by; she's up in Tamworth these days but was travelling to Melbourne so had plausible deniability for turning up at the garage, it was great to see her but also obviously a bit sad all round.
