Gtr Seat On Gtst Rail

Looking at buying a passenger 32GTR seat but has a silvia rail. Can the seat be put on the standard GTST rail?

I thought the rails were part of the standard seats. They are on the 33 GTS-t anyway

I think from memory the S and R chassis have similar mounting points for the seats anyway, Have a look on Nengun or somewhere and check the compatibility of the Bride rails between different cars. Should give you some answers

Is there any way you can take your car to the guy who you want to buy the seats off and trial fit them?

They are interchangable between all S chassis, If the siliva ones dont fit then bolt on your GTST ones,

the 32 gtr seats fit perfect in my R33, So much more comfortable aswell.

Yeh 3 of the 4 bolts line up from a S chassis. So I guess having 3 bolts will be enough.

It won't, trust me. The seat will flex and will feel like crap. Surely it can be modded to fit the last bolt

Yeh I just put it in with only 3 bolts. No good at all. Any places to get it modded?

How far out is the last bolt hole? can you cut the existing mount off and make a new one, or make an adapter for the current mount to get it to fit in the original mounting hole?

Na the hole is under the rail so it will need to be cut and another re-welded on.
