Reversing On A Slope

Hi has anyone had an issue reversing on a slope?

I park my 2003 v35 on a steep grass bank n every time I try and reverse off the bank it starts to reverse back then drastically hesitates and I get a weird electric motor sound from under the speedo ?

Reversing up or down the slope?

Well it's a grass embankment that I park parallel on so the car is on a tilt towards the drivers side.

I'm not reversing up or down it but across it so just straight back parralel on the slope n I get this weird electric motor sound from under the steering wheel

The car hesitates just before the dash sound occurs almost like a wheel brakes tracktion

could be the wheels spinning and the traction control kicking in (if it has it)

Took a while to get back here, but what Mad said, would make more sense if going up the slope, but still my bet
