CerealKiller
I'm looking to upgrade my brakes a little. I want to get braided brake lines but I have no idea where to go or how much they'll cost. Can someone point me in the right direction please? Thanks. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/41699-r32-braided-brake-lines-question/ Share on other sites
Roy
Talk to Greg at Race brakes in Wetherill Park... i have no trouble recommending them, good service and good pricing, hence the case of Crownies they get every year from me. From memory i think they were about $600 front and rears (but ring and ask that was 2 years ago and my memory aint the best), and they are tested and comply to ADRs...ie legal. LTSJayce
are the earls ones ADR approved SK? I just removed the Earls lines from my R32-didn't have the little A.D.R. clamp/stamp/thingo to get them certified. These lines were fitted in Japan before the car was imported.I've now had Goodridge lines with upspec'd fluid done-$550 fitted and right to go(although it was sorta "mate's rates" via the awesome crew at Neal Bates Automotive in Canberra...).Talk to an engineer-any line that is certified will have a sleeve with a cetain number to say they're fine(I think there's two different numbers-either will pass A.D.R.'s).So,my Earls weren't legal, but whoever brings them into Oz may be able to sell you a certifiable set....Worth the hassle,I say! CerealKiller
mist - I just e-mailed musecret and it'll cost me $390 for the lines. Did they install it for you or did you have to use someone else? mist
now i remember, Project Mu lines are cheaper than Endless.. so whatever I paid was including fitting. Didn't buy the lines from musecret nor did I get them to fit them, got them from another workshop in Sydney.
