Bearing Behind Steering Wheel Boss Kit Shit Itself

Ok, well i put my steering wheel back on and smashed the 19mm nut with a rattle gun, went to drive off and the bearing behind it fell to bits.

Has anyone changed this part before or would it be easier to change the whole steering column?

If so who has one they can spare from sydney?

Just found out the bearing is obselete with Nissan so doesnt matter.

Have to find a steering column now.

tried a bearing shop? You'd be able to get a replacement for sure man?

If there are any details you can see on the bearing around the side post then up, can get most sizes at work cheap (free)

Yeah the Numbers help, but even if he pulls it off getting and OD, ID and width of the bearing and you should be right to find a replacement from any bearing shop

Either way im going to have to strip the whole steering column and press the bearing off, so i'll see how i go hunting a column down first. Otherwise I'll be in contact with you Glen, thanks man
