I own a 2003 v35 that imported from japan. On the other day, I forgot the light on and the battery ran out. Then my friend helped out to charge it and actived the battery, but after the electricty back on. I can start the engine, when I put the key in and the dashboard shows nothing but mp3 player and TV still can work. Since that, I need to keep switching lock/unlock from the remote and randomly the dashboard back and everything works fine. This takes a while, sometimes up to 30mins and sometime just working fine as usual.. This is annoying me, I have change a new battery, but the issue still remain..

I am thinking is that the secritry system dead because when battery was dead I unlock by key (usual the secruity alarm will ring), and when the charge activated and alarm went off so the system broken. It used to have sound when I lock/unlock the car, but after this happen and the sounds gone.

I have been to the brisbane nissan and they said they dont fix import car. Is there any one have this issue before or where I can fix my v35? Please help!!

ok so for those wondering . upgrade alarm with one FAILING key.

he couldnt disarm the larm becuase the ORIGINAL remote key would not work.

said to see nissan and get another key done.

this is the reason that i will not sell upgrade alarms to people with only one key.

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
