ok price is 8500.

now has hi flow brand new hypergear turbo. greddy emanage tuned by trent @ chequred tuning. 172kws at the wheels @ 5500rpm @ 12psi. needs to go back in for an hour with the map attachment for the emanage to get over 200kw at the wheels.

also now has keas stage 2 valvebody on the box. this thing is great for an auto. all mods have been done professionally. and i have dyno sheet print out and receipt for shift kit.

ive spent about 2 grand on this in the last 2 months in an effort to make it more appealing to buyers. im in no rush to sell. and i could be slightly negotiable on price. can also get you a rwc for a bit extra.

its gone from being stock standard to tuned in a short space of time.... its now lightning of the line. also has a new carbon grille.

Nooooooooo!!!!

For anyone interested, Paul really took care of this skyline. Still remember when it was stock as rock and Paul has put in countless hours in getting it the way it is now :)

Good luck with the sale mate ;)

It certainly has! Should keep it and since it's already auto backed, de-register it and have it as a dedicated drag weapon :O

if i can get a hsv cheap enough i might do.......

guess wha i think i found a cheap enough hsv... vx r8 manual...

anyway really will take offers guys... dont be scared!

:O how much if you don't mind me asking? Manual is a bonus! Always loved the VX clubbys but was a little disappointed by its interior :(

yea interior is gopping. ive found one at 10k with no roady or reg. and one at 12 with rwc.

10k is that shitty yellow gold and 12k is red. i like neither. lol but i have plenty of time to look!

Yeah, shame about the interior. The VY/VZ interior is miles ahead of the VT/VX I reckon.

I don't mind red VX clubbys, but would def take a silver or a black one though ;)

Good luck with the sale anyway mate :)

Hi, have you still got the skyline? would you be interested in swapping for my 1998 Nissan Avenir Gt4Z Wagon? It's SR20DET, all wheel drive & fully optioned with an electric sunroof. To my knowledge it's the only one in Australia of 15 in the western hemisphere. It's gunmetal grey and basically looks like a mini Stagea. Needs rego. I'm in Penrith area. Luke

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
    • Good luck on the weekend mate

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
