HH is a great track but I think wrx price and non figure 8 may have killed it on this occasion.

For me, I'm looking at msca sandown 10/3 or tampered winton 11/3, as I do track days for exp (& cross fingers pbs) not points.

Hope this doesn't kill off people going to HH, it's definitely worthwhile.

hmmm, wasn't going to go but In Taralgon tommrow so might stay over any punt the Allroad around for some easy points in Std AWD. Does 2.6TDI quattro qualify? LOL

think that sort of monster will put you in Open class...

We at Winton on the 14th of April with rexy, you can collect points then

Then off to Sandown with Alfa (which will beat the living shit out of the MSCA day) on the 6th of May.

Last MSCA I went along to at Sandown, 3 runs for the day. I think the guys had 4 runs at PI.

We had 7 runs at the last rexy PI and almost ran out of fuel at the last Alfa day.

Yep MSCA are a good bunch but they do run slowly.

I'll probably do sandown since my dad's competing and I have some things to test.

Like to keep an eye out for wrx, gcc, msca, tampered events, I try to do one a month

In case anybody was curious, they ran clockwise, clockwise figure 8 then short track. Fun track but with a few hairy areas where flooring it over a blind crest takes a bit of getting use to...

Surprised that nobody else from SAU turned up?

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
