How do you clean a Blitz SUS stainless steel mesh air filter

Hi guys,

I have a Blitz SUS stainless steel mesh style air filter on my R33 GTS-T. Does anyone know how to clean these things?

I've done a search on the net. The nearest thing to any sort of suggestion I can find is use a degreaser like simple green. I'm assuming they also mean I should rinse it with water then let the thing dry totally before reinstalling. Is this the right thing to do? I just want to make sure I'm not gonna stuff anything up.

providing all youre tryin to do is blow all the dust out, shouldn't a can of "air in a can" blow it all out for you?
