Hey all, thought i'd chuck this up for anyone who is interested in a 25 build chasing 500 plus rwkw. Car used to have stock motor putting out 296rwkw with the old faithful 3076r and not much else. Now with my current licence issues (ie lack of) i will be building the motor fiiinally with parts i got thru NYTSKY an Raw Brokerage several years ago. So the list so far consists of;

CP pistons 20 thou over 9 to 1 comp

Eagle H Beam rods with ARP 2000 bolts

ARP head and main studs

Nitto oil pump

Full fuel system (sard surge tank with two AEM pumps inside and pierburg lift pump)

Custom low mount t3 manifold with Turbosmart 45mm Hyper gate

Custom plenum on stock runners with stock throttle body

Now i am just waiting on my custom turbo the boys at JEM have ordered which is something like a Garrett GT3794r with t3 rear. Still working out cam ideas an also injectors which may be ID2000's. Haltech Platinum Pro will be going in along with maybe a Profec B ebc. Hopefully with all this on e-flex it should pump out over 500rwkw fingers crossed. Will whack some photos on once stuff gets serious, we all know what the parts look like :) Also, all my old parts will be for sale ;) Will chuck them in the for sale section soon enough...

Cheers!

Well plan has changed a little bit. Ended up selling my old turbo set up including manifold and gate, so I will now be going with a high mount set up. Should be easier to work on, not too mention look better :yes:

Motor miiight be back tomorrow, if not week next from machining. Will put up some more photos as the build progresses

Build is moving along nicely! Have decided on going solid lifter conversion. Cams will be 260in/270ex. Fuel system is nearly complete, went with Xspurt 2000cc injectors and twin inlet top feed rail. Just waiting on motor then everything should flow along nicely :)

Boot install just about done

Little update, cams have been decided on along with solid lifter conversion. Have decided to drop the VCT in order to get the cams we want. Have gone with Tomei Procams 270 inlet and exhaust with 10.25mm lift. Should sound grumpy! :yes: Got Supertech solid lifter kit with oversize valves and all the good bits that come with it as well. Tomei cam gears on the front. All that arrived during the week and has been sent away to machine shop. Changed from my custom plenum (which is for sale) to a Greddy style one, which we painted in wrinkle black. Along with my black fuel rail, reg, lines and fittings it should look very sexy I think. Getting ever closer to hearing this thing fire up!

Plenum and rail lookin nice

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
