Yeh, agree all the way. Biggest POS ever made...the physics seems like it was made by a 5 year old, the music is from this unknown rapper, the graphics are so poor...To me, that game isn't even worth $2...

Is this mountain vengence.

Ive downloaded it

Finished it

deleted it.

Dissapointing.

this game is really really really bad

as SneakyFirebolt said, the physics engine is horrible, it honestly is worse than any racing game i have ever played, don't waste your time downloading, playing or at worst buying it. there are better 1-dimensional flash games out there made by amateurs. don't even expect to be able to drift on it, you can't even drive straight let alone drift.

Initial D: mountain we were whacked on moonshine russian vodak when we coded this. It'd be better to spend the $10K on a Initial D 2 machine. I got a COPY, a COPY, a pirated COPY, (like **** I'd pay for the real thing as soon as it went it the drive). 5 minutes IN, straight out, set a record for the fastest time I've ever deleted a game, I wouldn't even use it for a drink coaster it was that bad,

That mountain vengence was a real disappointment. The rip only had 1 repetative song, and the stages were pretty repetitive too. I think it even had a button for "drift".

It is a budget title after all, but with the Ps2 having a port of the arcade game (or similar), why didnt they license the sega one for peecee?

I steer clear of arcades, ive heard bad stories about the arcade game, but i know people who love it. fan of the series, but not going to pump coins into a game.

Apparently Bunta drives a wrx, and you can see a blue one in the intro for the latest anime series.

I got the PS2 port of the arcade machine version.... If you understand before you start playing it that it is going to be real arcade like then its a pretty fun game... Its got a pretty good selection of cars to choose from and the action is pretty fast paced....

My opinion:

PC Initial D - Bad... Very Very Bad...

PS2/Arcade Inidtial D - Good ... Bit of fun and some laughs :D

    • I think Fitmit had some, have a look on there (theyre Australian as well)
    • Hah, fair enough! But if you learn with this one you can drive any other OEM manual. No modern luxury features like auto rev-matching or hillstart assist to give you a false sense of confidence. And a heavy car with not that much torque so it stalls easily.
    • Actually, I'd say all three are the automatic option. Just the different trim levels. The manual would be RSFS, no?
    • What Duncan said sounds right. Also, it looks like they only have the driver's mat. Not the rest. Because looking at the diagram: KG4911 is just the mat for the driver. KG4900 is the full set if I'm not mistaken and discontinued.   But, it looks like they may still have the full set for the manual S2. Might be worth checking for the other models as well as they seem slightly different. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6649-rb25det/misc/G49 Man, I'm tempted.
    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
