the top pippig im really wanting to replace coz as you may see when they put it on it started hitting the bonnet, so i had my mechanic try and lower it as much as he could coz it was rubbing pretty bad

Yep but you will find that is a bigger job than you think as you will need a different intercooler setup etc

yea im just concerned that if it rubs a hole in it im kinda dead in the water

Pack race tape :P Lol, no really you should have the pipe modified to stop the rubbing! Plenty of other cars running that style piping without issues

yea its lowered now and isnt touching as far as i can tell but if you look at it in real life the way they placed stuff and the cheap rubber piping seems weird. btw a quick qestion with the stock turbos should they constsit with its boost or should it patter out around a certain rmp then kick in again ? or should i have that looked at? lol

first turbo so im still figuring out how it should ride and what it should feel like with the mods he put on it.

i dont know the boost or horsepower yet for sure, need to wait a month to get the cash together to put it on the dyno and have it serviced. but from what the guy i got it from he said it was 187kws and boosted to 14 psi and after a fortnight of driving it i very much doubt that is real.

yea im taking it to millennium motorsports and putting it on the dyno there and he said he would make sure its boosted safely and rework the boost for different gears so i dont get 14 psi on first gear etc. so im hoping that will fix her. apart from that shes a great car even has the factory sunroof =). clean inside just need to remove that pink crap from the skyline on the back and pull off the gtr badge.

Lol well report back with how it all goes mate!

Gotta go, talk later!

Fix the weak spot. turns out the turbo smart machanic boost controller was stuffed and pissing out pressure, running like a dream now all thanks to cyifly from these forums meeting up and having a look at her for me. awsome guy and god damn his car is a BEAST! lol

    • You can use your VIN to look up the factory part number somewhere like amayama, and then look to order new if necessary. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/nissan Depending on price you might want to rebuild instead. @GTSBoy I had an interesting insight into US market parts when the Titan rear calipers were sticking. New calipers were dirt cheap, about 20% more than a rebuild kit....they are just considered throw away maintenance items

    • Lots of votes for driving onto a plank first; that is the quickest way I've found, 25mm is enough for my case but that will vary by car It also depends where you are going for. On the 32 I can get to the rear diff with my floor jack if I do that end first, and get it up on stands. Then I lift the front from either front tow hook as high as needed, also onto stands. Sometimes I need a small lift on the other tow hook to get it level enough If I do the front first I can't get to the rear diff because of the angle of the car Other options are getting to the front mount of the rear subframe from in front of the wheel (if only lifting one side, or just do both which is a bit of a pain compared to one lift from the diff), or also the gearbox cross member mount on the driver's side if you are  just trying to lift the driver's side. I This is the jack I use; it says 75mm clearance but of course that is only on the lower section so if you have to reach too far in like the diff you still get stuck. https://www.snapon-bluepoint.com.sg/category/Floor-Jacks/product/Floor-Jack,-2-Ton-Low-Profile

    • Ok so i will NEED to have this sensor anyway even with Nistune (or standalone ECU) https://justjap.com/products/genuine-nissan-boost-pressure-sensor-evap-control-system-fits-nissan-r34-skyline-c34-nm35-stagea-pnt30-x-trail-rb25det-vq25det-sr20vet?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOoqfxX48bW9bEwH62orcNhtBfp7ekAL0C9Ca89ySFGUiBzXfXeze Is this the correct one? And this is only thing i need? No other "things" connected to the sensor or something? I do have the wiring.
