Removing S2 Steering Wheel

Hey all,

Im removing the series 2 r33 steering wheel, with an air bag. Plus the passanger airbag.

Whats the best way to do it, as id hate it to go off in my face!

I asked around before and i think i remember someone saying its best to disconect the battery for at least 24 hours before doing it?

Ive taken plenty off. I disconnect the battery but dont wait 24h. Just dont turn the ignition on with it disconnected

As above, disconnect the battery but also turn on ignition to reds to drain any excess power. then turn it off. Taken plenty off before, haven't had anything go off.

Excellent thanks. And is it just as easy to take the passenger one out to?

Passenger side is a pain if you dont have the right tool. Its a security torx shape no idea on size.
